Good Afternoon,
“ Three years ago Gabe did not talk, play with toys, or enjoy being around people other than close friends and family. He was officially diagnosed three years ago last week on the 23rd. I cried when I re-read his diagnosis report because unless Gabe's name was on it you NEVER would know this was the same child they were describing in the report. We are so proud of him and the progress he has made. He would not be where he is today without all of you. Words cannot describe how much we love and appreciate you all at TLC.
Thank you all again for your time and dedication to the children in our community. You are a testament to your profession.
Beth and Pete Mills”

You don't know how encouraging it is to know that there is HOPE & our dreams/ expectations for our little ones can come to pass albeit with a lot of hard work, persistence & God's grace most of all. It's easy to feel discouraged because we expect giant leaps of improvement but only see baby steps BUT it all adds up in the long run. We probably don't say it often enough but THANK YOU for all you do for Kelley & all the TLC kids. I look at Kel & I'm amazed. I call him my miracle - he may not seem that way to the casual observer but I know how far he's come in the past year; achieving goals that nobody ever thought possible when he got his diagnosis. And this is just the beginning!!! Thanks again. This means so much to me. God bless you.

The practice that Alex has had with T-ball at TLC has resulted in a world of difference. He will now wear his uniform, shirt and hat, which was once a huge issue. He actually said, “Baseball” when he saw that we were getting ready to go; he remembered AND put it together now that he has had the practice. He has never been willing to go to a game before. We tried football a long time ago but since crowds and noise bother him so much we stopped, so this is HUGE! We were able to go in, get the bat and hit the ball. YEEAAAAAA!!!! Even though he still has some trouble with the social environment of it, it seems that he will manage it and LIKE it! The efforts of the TLC staff make a world of difference. He is able to practice skills so that he can generalize and understand what is going on.

Our son was diagnosed PDD-NOS a month before his second birthday. Knowing that early intervention is so very crucial for his development we immediately began looking for programs that would be most beneficial for our son. After researching our options we found TLC. Matthew started with approximately 5 words and unorganized behaviors. After just 6 months of intense therapy his last count was over 150 words, the ability to communicate his needs and he is even potty training! Watching our son blossom has been an incredible journey! The staff at TLC is amazing and my family is so very grateful for their time, energy and compassion. TLC for Autism has truly been a blessing in our lives and I encourage anyone with a child on the spectrum to explore this avenue!
