How To Help

Andrews Center’s Treatment and Learning Center (TLC) is dedicated to piecing our community together by delivering life-changing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to East Texans with autism and other developmental disorders, but to do so, we need your help!  ABA is highly effective but also extremely expensive to provide due to its intense and high quality nature. People who seek and secure our services usually experience an improved quality of life but they often need financial assistance to cover their out of pocket expenses.  TLC also strives to provide opportunities to our clients that they might not otherwise be able to access.  Donations are used to fund therapy, material needs such as equipment, furniture and toys, and special events.  For these reasons and many others, please consider helping to change a life by making a contribution.

WANT TO DONATE?

Unrestricted monetary gifts give us the greatest flexibility in that we can apply the donation to the area of greatest need. If you prefer your donation to go towards a specific need at TLC, please feel free to specify and we’ll make sure your contribution is applied to your chosen service. There are several different ways that you can submit donations to TLC:

Tribute Gift

We are pleased to receive memorial and commemorative gifts. We will send you a donor tax receipt and note of acknowledgment, using the information you provided by you.

Assets

Give Appreciate Securities – You can donate shares of stock or mutual funds to Treatment and Learning Center.

Legacy Gifts

There are a number of different vehicles for leaving a Legacy to the Treatment and Learning Center:

  • Bequests: You can give a gift to TLC in your will or living trust.
  • Beneficiary Designation: You can continue to support TLC even after your death by naming TLC as beneficiary of your retirement plan, life insurance or insurance annuity assets.
  • Charitable Remainder: You can receive income each year for the rest of your life from assets you give to a charitable remainder at trust.  Your income can be a fixed or variable amount.  Following your death the balance in the trust will go to TLC.
  • Charitable Lead Trusts: As a way to reduce taxable income you can give assets to a trust that pays TLC an income for a specified time.  At the end of the specified period, the remaining trust assets go to you, your family or other beneficiaries you select.

Rewards Programs

Andrews Center is participating with a number of rewards programs whereby all you have to do is to sign up with them, then shop and they will donate a percentage of sales to Andrews Center.

Non-Profit Status

Donations are made to Andrews Center are completely tax-deductible, as Andrews Center is a non-profit tax-exempt organization recognized under article 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Our federal tax identification number is available upon request. Gifts may be given for charitable purposes, with no goods or services provided in consideration thereof.
